Feline, Felien, or Felie?

We're stuck... We like the name Felien "when you say it out loud," but we prefer Feline when it's written, and it also sounds nicer with the last name. We don't really like long names (more than 2 syllables), but the more we say Feline, the more we like it. Now I'm wondering how people pronounce this name—do they say Fe-li-ne or more like Felien? I think both sound nice. Then we came up with Felie... Or maybe a completely different name.. HELP!! How do you pronounce this name? And does anyone have a totally different idea? We wanted to stick with feminine, sweet, romantic names, but we've moved past that Thanks a lot in advance for thinking along with us

I don't really like Felie. I see it as an abbreviation for "gefeliciteerd" (congratulations).
I think Feline is the most beautiful, and then you can pronounce it as Felien anyway, right?

I like both Feline and Felien, but not Felie. I'd pronounce Feline as it's written. Felice could also work, pronounced like "Feelies" (short for Felicia, meaning joy).
Possible alternatives: Vera, Jinte/Jinthe, Niene, Vieve/Fieve, Ninthe, Diede, Elin, Philou/Filou, Marie, Noa, Ava, Lily, Yael, Mare, Suze, Ellis, Merle, Livia, Luna/Lune, Ayla, Aila, Ela, Febe, Liv, Lize, Lien/Liene

Indeed! I hadn't looked at it that way before, but now I'm thinking "congratulations" for Felie too, haha. Okay, that one's off the list, which saves us some trouble

Jinthe, Philou, Livia and Lize are also really beautiful names especially Livia

In my circle (acquaintances and students), the name Feline is just pronounced as 'Felien'. So I'd say go for it! I'd write the name that way too, but with an accent, Féline, maybe even harder, but then people (I think?) automatically say Felien.

Funny, I almost didn't include Livia because it has 3 syllables, but I still felt like it should be there because it was the first name that came to mind when I read "female, sweet, romantic names."

I would write it as Féline

    Feline without a doubt
I would really like to give this name to our fourth child if it's a girl. But unfortunately, my husband doesn't like the name.

I actually like Felie the best, with the stress on 'lie'. Otherwise, I'd go for Feline, then everyone can still call her Felien.
