Yes or no to this boy's name?

HELP!! We both went through a thick book and made a list of boy names. If I had been a boy, I would have been called Hajo, and my husband had Haco on his list. (He only liked 10 names from the entire book.)
Now we found out that HA and CO are the first letters of both grandpas, and it also means the same as Hajo. We thought there's no such thing as coincidence...
Now we found online that in recent years no one has named their child this, which makes us doubt again...
In short... what do you think of Haco? (or is Hanco better?)
Thanks in advance!!

Then I think Hanco sounds a bit better after all.

Does anyone know someone named Anco? I've always thought it was a beautiful name. And I can still remember a Hajo among my little brother's friends (he was an Afrikaans boy, but you pronounced it as "Chayo" – also beautiful!).

That's quite a story, though..!! All the more reason to go for it..
(And especially if the name is unknown!!! That's ours too, and I'm even more proud of it!!)

    I'd go for Hanco!

I personally would indeed go for Hanco... I think it sounds a bit better.

What an original name! Maybe Haico/Hajco/Hayco is an idea? Your grandpas' names are kept in there, but I think this name does come up regularly. (I live in Friesland, where Heico/Heiko does come up. Not a lot, but not uncommon either. That's why Haico came to mind.)
    Good luck!

I think Deejay's suggestion is really nice! Haico or Hayco

And it's just as lovely that this is such an original name!

I'd just do it! Isn't it special precisely because no one else is called that?
