Help! Do I have a chance of getting pregnant?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here but I've got a question right away.
Hope I can get an answer here.
My story: My partner and I are trying to conceive. I was on the pill for a while but stopped after 5 months. I got my period on 19-02-2017, but it only lasted 3 days and was very heavy. I had 2 days of no bleeding, then started bleeding heavily again but with light pink/brown discharge.
I took a test and it was negative. However, I had unprotected sex before my period and also a few times after.
Am I fertile?
Do I have a chance of being pregnant but should I wait to test?
Really hoping to get an answer.
