So the doctor says the test is indeed positive! For extra certainty, they did another test, but that one was negative! I had already noticed that my other tests were also negative in the afternoon... but the doctor said no, that can't be, this one is negative.
I'm not convinced because I don't always trust the doctor.
Called the midwife and made an appointment for tomorrow at 09:30! So we'll have to wait and see...
I was so convinced before, but now I have my doubts again...

Wow, that's so weird. Glad you can go to the doctor tomorrow. I'm curious.

    Good luck tomorrow.

I also think it's really weird if that line is false??
I'm curious, but it's so weird if there's nothing to see on the ultrasound either.

Didn't your GP take blood? They can determine your hCG levels from that.
And otherwise, get an ultrasound done so you're completely sure, because doubting like this is just not fun at all
and sounds super stressful to me!

Nope, so tomorrow I'm getting an ultrasound. On one hand, I hope I'm not doing this for nothing! On the other hand, I hope it's nothing... I feel completely numb right now. How do I deal with the stress????

    Hi kesy98,
I share the opinion that it’s strange that the GP didn’t take a blood sample for analysis. Ultimately, this is one of the first things that indicate whether you’re actually pregnant or not (not the number of weeks of pregnancy, of course) ... and not a pregnancy test. Hopefully, you’ll get clarity today at the ultrasound.

    Best wishes, mykittens

Ladies, there was nothing to see on the ultrasound!
I thought I'd be happy with this result, but it feels like I don't trust my body anymore... I'm secretly pretty upset about it...
    Thanks ladies!
And good luck with your pregnancies, I'll wait a few more years!

oooh nothing to see, weird. Shouldn't you have it further examined/checked why you haven't gotten your period yet? Or maybe have your blood checked?

How crazy that the test was positive and still nothing to see on the ultrasound. I hope you'll get your period soon, I understand that you don't trust your body anymore.

Yeah, I also find it really weird, so the tests from Bam and Kruidvat are really not trustworthy. The ones for 2 for 10...

I also had such a clear line of spotting last week! I understand that it’s a bit of a disappointment for you, but it’s really better this way since you’re alone but I guess you already know that. I would definitely keep pushing your doctor about the fact that you haven’t had your period yet.

These cheap tests unfortunately often give a false positive result. If you look closely, you can see that the line isn't centered properly and is much thinner. I had that kind of result myself and thought it was positive too! After some Googling, I saw photos of these tests with the same result as mine, which turned out to be negative. So mine was negative too... I tested positive with them a few weeks later, and then the line was as thick as the control line. I'm never using them again anyway..

I’d have you checked out!! A positive test when you’re not pregnant can indicate cancer!!
