Pregnant?

Hi
I'd like to remain anonymous... I'm 20 years old and have a serious relationship. I just found out I'm 9 days late. I have very painful breasts, a lot of white discharge, and often feel like I'm going to throw up but it doesn't come up and goes back down. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to get my period but those twinges only last 5 to 10 minutes and then it goes away again, whereas when I get my period I feel the twinges all day long. I'm a bit scared to be pregnant. I always take the pill at the same time and never forget, and we found out (too late, of course) that the condom had torn... My womb also feels a bit swollen. I went to the doctor today to get a blood test... I'll know more tomorrow.

Why didn't you just take a test?

Cheer up. Just do a test quickly, it saves so much unnecessary stress. The symptoms are indeed tough, but a test gives you something to hold on to. If you're unsure about the result or the pain, don't hesitate to call your GP or the baby clinic for advice. Take it easy for now until you have clarity.
