Hi everyone,
I hope you can help me out. My partner and I have been trying for our first baby for over half a year now. Here’s the thing... I have a very short cycle, always just under 20 days. I’ve read that a cycle shorter than 21 days doesn’t result in ovulation. After doing some research, I found out that this might be due to my medication. I’m planning to make an appointment with my GP next week to possibly taper off the meds.
Anyway, over the past six months I’ve been tracking my cycle very closely, and it usually fluctuates between 17 and 18 days (very short, indeed). I’m now 3 days late compared to my longest cycle so far. Normally, when my period starts, I usually have some pink discharge and more fluid for the first two days, but this time there’s absolutely nothing. It’s clear white discharge now.
I’ve of course tested every morning, but unfortunately, the results have been negative. Another thing is, I’ve had extremely sensitive breasts this past week—I’ve really never experienced that before. This could also be related to a new cycle, but do you think it might still indicate pregnancy?
Could it be that I’m not producing enough hCG hormone yet?

It's hard to say over the internet. I think it's better to make an appointment with your GP and discuss it there.
