Late implantation?

Hi ladies!

I have a quick question,

I was supposed to get my period last Wednesday, Feb 8th, but so far there are no signs of it. Since Feb 1st, I've had a lot of white discharge and have been feeling a bit under the weather. From Feb 4th onwards, I had a strong period-like feeling, but thankfully it didn't come.

Yesterday and the day before, I noticed a one-time minimal light pink discharge once after sex and once after wiping after peeing. Nothing else.

Now my question is:

When would I be able to take a pregnancy test if implantation was indeed later?

    If you were expecting your period on the 8th, you're already 5 days late and could take a test any time now. If implantation occurred, it would have happened before the 8th, so the bleeding you had could also be from intercourse. If the cervix is well-perfused (common during pregnancy), there's a higher chance that a small blood vessel got damaged during sex. It's nothing serious, but it could explain the spotting.

    Hey Anoniem,
    It could also be that I miscalculated by a week and that I should be getting my period on 15/02... but I've never had that pink, neither during overdue nor before a possible period... so just wait and see!

    I'll wait until Wednesday and then test if I'm still overdue.

    Tested last Wednesday but it was negative. I'm still not on my period....
