Unexplained reduced fertility

DaisyGuest ·
Hi everyone,

My name is Daisy. I'm 27 and my husband is 34. We've been diagnosed with unexplained reduced fertility.
We started trying to conceive in June 2015, and it's been 20 months now, unfortunately without any result yet. We've had all the standard tests: internal ultrasound, HSG, semen analysis – everything came back excellent.
The gynecologist is wondering whether IUI would actually be of added value for us.

Are there any other ladies in a similar situation or something comparable?
I'd love to share some experiences.

Kind regards,
Daisy

I know it! We also had no cause! First IUI cancelled because of 1 egg too many! No sex and had to take Provera, but we didn't stick to it! And then, after almost two years, pregnant that month!! Had an HSG in November, they say you're more fertile after that! Also, I've been diligently taking wheat germ oil tablets twice a day, morning and evening! Not sure if it helped, but just a tip! From the brand D'R Vogel

    Don't give up!

    How special! Enjoy your pregnancy.
Yes, the doctor also told us that you're more fertile after an HSG, unfortunately we're now half a year further without any result. I often wonder if something's wrong with fertilization or implantation. Otherwise you'd almost say it would have worked by now
Next week we'll find out if they're going to make a treatment plan or if we can try again for another half year.
I find it so hard sometimes, I still have hope that it'll happen naturally without the medical hassle.
    Thanks for your tip!

I also thought implantation had failed for us, and wheat germ oil capsules are supposed to be good for that! Maybe a tip, I took them from my period until my next period or test day! By the way, I’m still taking them, after 1 month of not forgetting to take them, it worked!

I know that feeling! But you’ll definitely get a positive test soon
