Ovulation test positive?

Good morning everyone.
I have a question. I'm one day overdue and the pregnancy test I just took says Not Pregnant. Since this was our first attempt, I'm wondering if I misjudged the ovulation test? Do you think it was positive? The day before it was a bit lighter, so it was building up nicely, and the day after it was completely light again. I personally thought it was positive, but since I'm not having my period or pregnant, I'm starting to doubt.

    You could test again in a few days. It's quite possible that you are pregnant but just don't have enough hormones yet. It's also possible that your egg ruptured a bit later; it can happen that your egg ruptures a few days after a positive ovulation test, meaning you might have timed it too early and aren't actually pregnant, and your period could still come.

    Thanks for your reply! I'll wait a bit and if I don't get my period in a few days, I'll take another test.

    Yes, it is a positive ovulation test.

    The ovulation test is indeed positive, and unfortunately, there's no other option but to wait for your period or a positive pregnancy test
