What are you going to do first when you have a positive test in hand??

    I think I would...

First, I'd just beam with joy and do a little happy dance with my partner, haha! Then the reality would sink in. And I'd wonder how I'm going to keep this secret for a little while, because I'd probably want to tell everyone as soon as possible and definitely shouldn't rub my belly too often.

And of course, there'd be way more Googling of all those cute baby stuff than I'm already doing. But also Googling for a nice way to announce it later on.

And then all the practical midwife calls and stuff would start.

mommytobe! what a lovely response!! haha here I think the same story... although I will soon tell my closest family. Then they can support us well.
And I secretly already have an idea how

I think I'm going to scream with joy!

Oh, I'm really curious now.. would you like to share your idea with us, R?

Crying my eyes out of joy.. After 1.5 years, that's allowed, right?

I danced around the room with my husband! After almost 2 years, this was such joy and happiness! And of course, the little tears of joy came too

Oh Nonnie, that's so nice for you guys! Just naturally after 2 years??

Aah, what a lovely idea R! I'd keep it to myself for the first while and only show my parents an ultrasound picture later on. Since I've been trying for so long, I can get an early ultrasound done at around 6 weeks or so... But I'm afraid it might still take a little while..

Haha we went to Etos together and bought a Clearblue test the day after my birthday and yes, it showed 1-2 the day before my period was due.

I realized I was pregnant because of sore muscles lower in my belly! Heavy feeling, sore breasts (thought it was due to hormones) and I had that Thursday appointment with the tattoo artist to get my tattoos touched up, but it hurt like crazy! Never experienced that with tattoos before! Then the guy said, maybe you're tired or just not feeling well! Then I thought wait a minute, I'm just pregnant. Got home, did a test late in the evening, and yes, one line! The next day on my birthday, an even clearer line! My birthday was amazing, finally pregnant! I was so happy.

I had my first IUI last month. Unfortunately, it didn't go through because after the hormone injections, I had one too many eggs, 4 in total! Got Provera prescribed but didn't take it and didn't follow the sex ban! Now it's exciting to see how many there will be

And the doctor said it's a spontaneous pregnancy despite the hormones

I think I'll keep it to myself for a while. Only when I know it's safe will I let my sisters and parents in on it, and of course my anxious husband. I'd really just keep it to myself for now.

I just think, enjoy the moment for a little bit :-)
When my husband is around, we tell him together. When he's at work and I take a test, I wait until evening to tell him—I have a lovely little secret all day

Wow, nonnii! That’s a gamble! Next thing you know, you’ll have triplets! It’s really nice though; we’re starting IUI with hormones in about half a year. Do you have a higher chance of having multiples then? I haven’t really looked into it yet...

Sophie... we already let our parents know that it's welcome.....
My mother-in-law made a very spontaneous remark about us being able to grow further in our new little house. My boyfriend and I started laughing sheepishly and blushing. And of course, like mothers do, she realized there was more to it, so we just told her that my IUD had been removed.... And now that I'm dealing with severe pregnancy cravings (whether it's real, in my head, or if I have the flu), it's really convenient that our mothers take my mood swings and eating habits into account.
Especially since we have a few birthdays this month.
Nonni, good luck!!!! Haha!! Getting a sex ban sounds terrible to me..
Faatje! Be happy with such a man!! I have an incredibly sweet treasure, but from time to time he's a bit of a pushover. We had guests over recently, and I always really love having a glass of wine with dinner. Out of habit, he put a glass of wine down for me. Come on, I'm under the influence (gotcha )
Michelle, huge respect... I really can't keep anything to myself!!

Ladies, good luck!!! Really nice responses, thank you!!
