Hi everyone, I have a question. I had my IUD removed a week ago because my boyfriend and I are trying to conceive. My period symptoms started showing up—well, at least all the symptoms: belly pain, back pain, bloating, (sorry for the details) brown discharge, and so on. But so far, I haven't gotten my period yet! Has anyone experienced this? Can I already be pregnant this quickly, or is this normal?

I had exactly the same thing, and a month later everything was just up and running... but maybe you can take a test if you have doubts??

Your body needs to get back on track.
When you start using it, you might get a bleed two weeks after your period.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know my cycle anymore since I got the coil, so I'm not sure if the test would be reliable. I'm starting to get some pregnancy symptoms now (but I'm aware that I could be causing them myself). I'll wait another two weeks and then take a test!

Hi, just an update. I still haven't gotten my period yet. I did have a lot of discharge and almost a couple of days later had a sharp stab in my belly. I've read that during ovulation, discharge doubles and gets thicker, and implantation can cause a sharp stab. Now I'm extremely sensitive to smells, have heartburn, muscle pain in my upper thighs, constant small cramps in my belly all day, and get hungry quickly. But the tests I've taken are negative. Before I had my IUD, I had a long cycle. I've now ordered early tests and I hope for more clarity then. What do you guys think, could this still be from the IUD?
