Ovulation test

SanGuest ·
Hi. I’ve tried ovulation tests before, but they were always negative. This time I’ve been tracking my cycle well, and it’s always 28 days. According to my calendar, my LH peak should be today (Jan 31), but I started testing from the 27th, and the first test was mostly “positive.” I’ve included a photo below. Did this test actually work, and did I already have my LH peak on the 27th? What do you all think? Thanks in advance! ???

For some people, ovulation happens earlier or later than what you'd expect based on the calendar. That calendar is based on averages, so it's very possible that your cycle runs differently and your peak is earlier. The important thing is to have regular intercourse (every other day) around your peak—both before and after, since the egg can sometimes be released later. Sperm can survive for a few days in the uterus, and by not having sex every day, the man also gets time to replenish his "supply."
