Buy a baby carrier

Hi ladies. I carry my two little girls a lot in a wrap carrier, and since it’s gotten quite chilly now, I want to get a carrier coat. I’ve settled on this one. Do you have experience with carrier coats and which ones do you use?
My budget isn’t huge, so I’m looking for something good but not too expensive, or do you have other options? I did read about making a regular coat into a carrier coat myself, but I’m not very handy, so I don’t think that’ll work. Second-hand isn’t an option for me; I bought a second-hand wrap carrier in the past and didn’t like it at all.
Would love to hear from everyone.

No experience with this jacket... I had something like a mid-layer/vest made of fleece. Also nice and warm, but this is of course better for snow and shit.
I liked it fine. Mine was 60 euros via a Belgian website.
Good luck choosing. Luckily there are more options now

Well, a second-hand coat is quite different from a second-hand baby carrier. A carrier really needs to fit well for both your little one and you. A coat is purely for yourself. I don't think there's anything wrong with buying second-hand. It doesn't have to be brand new or anything

I have a wrap carrier, a structured carrier, and several other carriers, and I love carrying my little girl just as much as she loves being carried. That wrap carrier looks great, and the price is also fine.

    Hi Marie,
I also ordered him yesterday and got him today. I think he's really beautiful, I'm happy with him, thanks for your tip...... I think it was a question in this topic but I secretly made a tip out of it anyway.
They also have baby carriers there, I already have another one but this carrier seems like something too. You don't see that kind of model so often. What do you think about that?

    Greetings,

    Femke

Check out the Bonprix website. They have a lot. I have a vest and a jacket, really ideal and definitely not expensive!

Fun topic! I bought a Ayla carrier and it fits really well, definitely recommend it! By the way, I also saw that they had quite an expensive one on sale, reduced from 90 to 65 euros, but unfortunately it was out of stock in my size. I went for the Ayla and love it!

    Greetings,

Great topic, girls. I recently bought one too. I'm really happy with it, super handy, and if you take out the insert, it's also a really nice regular jacket. By the way, I didn't think the one from Bonprix looked nice.

    Hi ladies,
I also bought a babywearing jacket from Allesmama. It wasn't entirely clear to me, but the jacket was shipped from the Netherlands even though they have a Belgian website allesmama.be. At first, I had a fleece babywearing jacket, but since it turned out a bit small, I returned it and then bought a black Kangoo babywearing jacket.
I also asked for advice and called them, and they told me I should probably go one size up because they use Spanish sizing.
The jacket fits really well and isn't thick, but it's wonderfully warm. I even got to test it during a heavy rain shower :-) and it worked great. It comes with 2 inserts and 2 hoods. I'd definitely recommend this Kangoo.
I'm so glad I checked out this forum beforehand, as it helped shape my choice.

I also got this baby carrier wrap and I'm super happy with it. Now we're going to throw a baby shower for a friend! Awesome :-) We're doing it in December, and for that occasion I ordered the new 4-in-1 carrier wrap from Minomana. It looks super cool, in my opinion, and I'm sure she'll love it.

What a great idea, Goedele! I took a closer look at the nursing cover and ordered it right away I feel a bit guilty now.

    lovely, I can't wait

@ikleghetjeweluit... maybe you should adjust the bit about Minomana. They now have 2 new baby carriers (I ordered one too ) and in my opinion, they look really awesome. See photos

Well... the wait was really long, but the baby carrier jacket is finally here. There was a delay in delivery, and all in all, it took 2 weeks longer than planned. I wasn't happy about that, but I have to say I was kept properly informed.
I received this carrier jacket yesterday (on Monday ). I already sent an email asking if I could order 2 and then return 1, and that wasn't a problem. So I ended up with both the red and the grey ones.
Both carrier jackets are very nice. The model is really super, and the colors are beautiful too. Both have a black "lining" or rather, inner part. I took my 11-month-old girl out with it yesterday despite the bad weather, and I'm really enthusiastic about it.
The carrier jacket has 2 hoods (that was one of the reasons I went for this one) and also two inserts. Yesterday I first tried the insert for carrying on the belly. The zipper is of good quality and the insert zips in easily.
I didn't really have any issues with the weather because you're really well protected. Put on the hoods... put on some clothes and go. The quality is very good, the finish is nice, and the price is also much better than others.
This carrier jacket is highly recommended! If anyone has questions, I'd be happy to help you :-)
