Stach? Or maybe another name?

Hi!
What do you think of the boy's name Stach? We came across the name in the book Koning van Kantoren when I was reading aloud to our oldest, and since then we've quite liked it. But maybe it's a bit too unusual? What do you think?

By the way, our daughter is called Dille and our son is Loet.
If our baby turns out to be a girl, she'll be called Elin, that's already decided.

Other boy names on the list are Mats, Thomas, and Sven.

    Awesome!! I think it's a really beautiful name! Fits perfectly with Dille and Loet, both very special and lovely names! I like Mats, Thomas, and Sven, but they feel quite ordinary compared to the other names... I really love Stach! I think it works great! It sounds a bit like Stan, so it has a very Dutch feel. And the association with Stach from "Koning van Kator" is only positive, right?! Plus, associations fade quickly once people have a child with that name. In short, a gorgeous name, I say go for it!

    Stach! Super fun! Fits well with Dille and Loet. What I also really like is that all three names are original...
    Honestly, I find Stach much nicer than Thomas, Sven or Mats.

    I think Elin is such a beautiful name! It has a lovely sound. I feel like the name is in a different style than Dille and Loet, but I'm not sure if you guys mind that. I don't think it's a big deal. Are there any other names on your list for a girl?

    I think Elin is pretty okay! Stach is really not my thing, but I see that the rest of you like it! Well, tastes differ, don't they? And especially with more unique names, you'll always have people who don't like them as much.

    I agree with Emily that Elin feels like a different style to me than Dille and Loet. In that regard, I think Stach (such a lovely name) fits really well.
    I do think Elin is a nice name overall. Not super special, kind of neutral.

    When I hear Stach, I immediately think of Stitch, so I don't think it's a beautiful name for a child. It is special though.

    Stach isn't really my thing. I think it sounds a bit odd as a first name. Stylistically, though, the name fits well with the other kids.

    I think Elin is a really nice name.

    Elin: nothing wrong with it per se. Very popular.
    I also don't think he fits well with the other names.

    Hi Loes! Yes, we went with the name Stach. His full name is Stach Thomas Benjamin. It did get some raised eyebrows, but most people are really enthusiastic. And Stach is a real Stach!

    I like Stach better than the other names you mentioned.
