Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
Rare situation
Hey,
My partner and I had been trying to get pregnant for a year. When I got my period on December 3rd, I thought it was nothing. But on December 16th, I was still bleeding, so I took a test anyway. It turned out I was already 2 weeks pregnant. On my gynecologist's advice, I went to the emergency room. They told me my hCG levels had dropped and that I had a miscarriage. I only had bleeding for 2 more days, and by Monday it was over. Then I got severe pain at the bottom left of my belly. On Friday, I went to my gynecologist, and she said my uterus was empty (except for a lot of fluid), but they saw something on the ovary that was too early to identify. A week later, I had to come back for a blood test. My hCG was still too high, so I got another week to let it drop. The gynecologist said it was likely an ectopic pregnancy and that my hCG had to be below 5 the next week, otherwise they would operate. The following week, I went back, and my hCG was 15. I had also had bleeding for 3 days before that. The gynecologist said we should just let nature take its course. When I asked him what exactly was happening, he said he didn't really know. Since then, I've been experiencing extreme fatigue that's still ongoing. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I find it all so strange...
