Baby Names
Twin English names
Caro Guest ·
Hi everyone,
I'm Caro, married to Jonathan and mom to Kate. Currently, I'm pregnant with twins; a boy and a girl. Jonathan is from the UK, which is why we'd like English names for our kids. It was already a challenge with Kate, but now it's even harder. I get the feeling that English names in the Netherlands are always seen as a bit ordinary, and I want to avoid that.
We're thinking of Hazel (English pronunciation), Lillian, Olivia for our daughter and James, William, Oliver.
What do you think of these names? Do Kate, James, and Hazel sound too much like "Kwik Kwek en Kwak"?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!
X Caro
