epilepsy and a desire for a child

I'm new here on this forum, and my partner and I are trying to conceive. On top of that, I have epilepsy and take medication for it, which makes things a bit more complicated and especially uncertain. (If I get pregnant, there's a 3% increased risk of abnormalities like spina bifida or cleft palate.)
I was wondering if there's anyone here on this forum who also has epilepsy and how their pregnancy went. Did you, for example, suddenly have seizures again after being seizure-free for several years?
