Pregnant after miscarriage

Hi hi

We unfortunately had a miscarriage recently, but the longing for a new pregnancy seems even more intense now than it was before. What do you all think is a good time to go for it again, and what’s naturally sensible?

The best is just when you're both ready. In that case, you have to listen to yourself and your partner. That's what we did in both cases too.

How long did it take for you to get pregnant again, if I may ask?

Well, every time about a few months.

So you mean you've had multiple children or miscarriages?

You and your partner need to decide together when you're both ready again. We just kept going right away. I had one period and then got pregnant again.

    Lots of strength, dear.

First of all, I'm so sorry for your miscarriage! Strength to you!
As was also said above, when you're ready again, you can just go for it. We also continued right away (had a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks) and got pregnant right after Our daughter is already 5.5 months old now
Doctors do recommend waiting one cycle, but that's for practical reasons; medically speaking, there's usually no reason to wait.
    Good luck with getting pregnant!

Yes, we had two miscarriages. This happens more often than you'd think. The first time, we waited a few months before trying again and got pregnant right away. The second time, we started trying again immediately, and it took a few months.

But as I said, the best thing is to look at yourselves and how you're feeling. If you want to move forward right away, then do that. But if you need more time to process it, then take that time.

    Strength and good luck.

First of all, strength to you ladies.
I had 2 miscarriages. There was a 3-month gap between them. And after the 2nd miscarriage, there was also a 3-month gap before I got pregnant with our son.
We went for it right away. It was with pain and fear in our hearts, but our wish was so big and now we're fully enjoying our son.
You have to go for it when you're ready yourself.

We were going to go for it right away anyway. We were 5.5 weeks pregnant and had already lost it pretty early. I had positive tests 2 weeks in, and we had been trying for 3 years. The feeling towards a next pregnancy has become more intense because of that. I never had any symptoms that told me I was pregnant, and I didn't feel the miscarriage either. To me, it felt like I was just having my period, so maybe that's why it was easier to say we're going for it again right away. I did find myself really upset for 1 day, but now we're enjoying each other intensely again, and hopefully, that will bring us a new love. Thanks, ladies, for your responses.

I had a miscarriage in November and was D&C'd on Dec 16. I had bleeding for 5 weeks, then nothing for a week, followed by a bleed that felt like a normal period. That makes sense, 6 weeks after the D&C. The pregnancy wasn't planned, and my husband didn't want to risk getting pregnant again, but the grief was so big for me that we talked about it a lot, and now we want to try again. I'm curious how quickly it happens and if it'll work out this time. I'm 44, so yeah...

Oh Tasja, what a heavy story. How did it end, if I may ask? I can totally imagine those sleepless nights. I'm not really sure what else to say, but I wish you so much strength.

    Hi Mellanie,
Had a heavy surgery behind us, luckily everything went well. Read your form and it's nice to see that things are going well????

    Greetings

Hey Tasja, that's less to read. I hope everything is okay now after having had such a heavy operation. Here, hopefully, a positive test soon. It's March 31st and the wait is already so long hihi
