Nova / Novi / Noël negative connotations?

Really curious to hear your opinions. We've come up with a few names for our daughter starting with 'No'. Now we're wondering if 'No' carries any negative connotations/associations. What do you think?
The names are: Nova, Novi, Noël and Nowie.

I'm not a fan of these names myself, but that's obviously personal. I think Noël is the most beautiful, but I'd spell it as Noëlle myself. That makes the name sound more finished, more feminine and elegant (in my opinion). I really don't like Nova/Novi, but I'm from Flanders. It seems like those names are given more often in the Netherlands or considered prettier there. Nowie reminds me of Lowie and doesn't really come across as a name to me. I can't picture an adult woman with that name either.
Names with No that I do find beautiful: Noa, Nora(h), Noémie, Noor
Other names with No that I'm still considering: Nore, Nona, Nori, Noélie, Noëlla, Norma, Noran, Nor, Noéline, Noha, Nolane, Nola, Nono
Ultimately, my opinion doesn't matter, and you and your husband need to agree on one :-) Good luck with the choice!

I actually think they're really nice names. I especially love Nova. I don't see any negative connotations or associations with this type of name at all.
    It's just really upbeat/cool!
