Has anyone had any experience with folic acid? I want to start taking it, but I was wondering if the Kruidvat brand folic acid is good?

Greetings!

Folic acid from all brands is fine, so Kruitvat is also good!

Once you're pregnant, you can switch to a multivitamin for pregnant women. This contains the right amount of folic acid plus other vitamins/minerals that are good for your baby and you!

I’ve been taking it for 7 months now since we decided to try for a baby. It’s best to start with folic acid before you get pregnant.

There's a difference between synthetic folic acid. The natural version is folate, which is better absorbed by the body. I've been using Multi Mama for 6 months now and feel more energetic because of it. More vitamins. Also lots of fruit and vegetables. Now I'm using Holland & Barrett Prena Fen by Othica.
