Hey.. did you send me a private message yesterday saying my water broke?
I've since given birth to our beautiful daughter, Fardau.
The birth was a real struggle and we need to stay overnight in the hospital for observation. Hopefully going home tomorrow.
How is it with you? -

Hey, oh how nice!! Congratulations on your daughter!! I wasn't feeling well and hadn't checked my laptop...shit.
But what a beautiful name, I've never heard it before. Sounds a bit Portuguese, but I see it's a Frisian name
So the birth was a hell? That's really tough. You wanted to give birth at home but ended up in the hospital... Is everything okay with you guys?
Nothing's happened with me yet, I didn't get stripped on Wednesday either because the baby hasn't dropped enough. If nothing happens in the meantime, they'll check again on Monday if I can get stripped. I have a feeling it'll happen this weekend...let's hope so
Anyway, hopefully you can go home today and enjoy each other...

Hey! The weekend has started, so hopefully yours too if your intuition is right...
Too bad you couldn't get stripped last week. I'm rooting for you that you'll be able to give birth super soon.
We did come home on Thursday morning. Fardau is doing really well now. The milk is also starting to come in well, so I hope she starts growing again now.
As for me, things are actually going pretty well, except that because of the birth I have such huge hemorrhoids that I can barely sit, stand, or walk. Lying on my side is the only thing that works... So that's a bit of a downer. I've tried everything, but there's still no improvement... -

Hey. I'm trying to keep an eye on the forum a bit... I'm sooooo curious how you're doing. The weekend is already over and today they were supposed to check if you could be unbandaged again..... exciting!!!!
Everything is going well here. Fardau is a happily satisfied baby. She's growing well and is very content. A big pink cloud.
Let me know soon!
Because I'm really curious! -

Hi, sorry I haven't been online for a while. Unfortunately, nothing has happened here yet
I've had a lot of strong contractions but they won't progress. Stripping still hasn't worked, and my cervix isn't soft enough yet. I've also been to the hospital for heart scans. Pfff....then I know exactly why I want to give birth at home. I have until Sunday, otherwise I'll be induced. So keep your fingers crossed for me...
It's so nice that everything is going well with Fardau! A satisfied baby is a satisfied mama
Is breastfeeding going well too? And how are the hemorrhages doing? Can you sit a bit again and stuff? -

Oh, what a letdown! You must be so fed up by now! I'm really rooting for you that it starts soon. I had quiet hope because you hadn't been online for a while...
Everything is going super here. BV is fantastic. Fardau is already almost back to her birth weight! Even though she had lost 10%, so she's really doing well.
Tomorrow is already the last day of postpartum care. Also so sad because I have the best help you could wish for. This is by far the most relaxed postpartum week ever. Really just enjoying it. So nice. Maybe precisely because the other kids are a bit older and you don't worry as much anymore...
Stay positive! I keep my fingers crossed! -

The weekend is already here, and it's still quiet from your side... How are you doing? Any signs of labor yet?
I keep thinking about you. You've got this! -

Hey, it finally happened. Jae was born on 19-01-2017. It was a hellish 24-hour ordeal, but he's here
We're both still in the hospital unfortunately and can't go home yet. In fact, Jae is on the High Care unit and I'm in isolation. I'm not allowed to be near him because of my flu and the risk of infection. It's quite a blow, not easy at all.
Hopefully, we'll both strengthen up soon and can go home...
Good to hear that everything is going well with you
And such a maternity week is really nice when the maternity care works out well. Enjoy it a bit more!! -

First of all, congratulations on the birth of your son! What a cool, strong name!
But...
Oh my, oh my, oh my... what a disappointment... hospital, high care, isolation... How could all that happen?
Were you already not feeling well for a while?
And what now?
Sending lots of strength. I hope you all recover soon and can go home.
And if you'd prefer to chat via app, for example to vent, we can exchange numbers via PM. I feel for you!
Stay strong. Love, xxx -

Hey... I keep thinking about you. About your incredibly intense birth and especially the fact that you can't be with your baby. Can you not see him at all? And why is Jae on high care? Hang in there, girl! -

How are you doing? -

Hey. It's been over a week since your delivery. How are you doing? Have you recovered and come out of the so-called isolation yet? And how is Jae doing? I'm thinking of you a lot and am very curious how things are going for you now. Whether everything looks a bit rosier already. I hope to read something from you soon.
Take care.
