We're debating the spelling of the baby name. How would you name your little boy?

Luc, Luke, Luuk or Luuq?

For us, it's Luc. I think that's the most beautiful spelling. I'm crazy about French names

    Not too complicated, just Luuk.
  3. Truke #4

    Just Luuk

I'd personally go for Luke, but I think Luuk is better and people will spell it correctly faster. Luc is also a good and fun option. Luuq is too complicated.

Luuk is the most normal spelling. I'd go for that spelling, so your child has to explain the least often how to spell it. I also think Luc is beautiful and then the most logical. Luke is also an option, but I don't think it looks very nice. Luuq I find really ugly.

    Luc or Luuk

Luc. I really think the rest are spelled weirdly. Luk works too!

Luuk and Luc are both beautiful names. Our daughter is named Linn, which spelling do you all think looks best here?

    Luuk is the prettiest!
    As a second choice, Luc.
I don't like the other spellings. Especially Luuq seems really weird and just not nice at all!

    Luuk!

I think Luuk is the most beautiful spelling and also the most common.
I can get used to Luke and Luc too.
But Luuq is really not beautiful.

    Luuk!

    Lucas, nickname Luc.
  14. Susanna #15

    Luc
  15. Druifje24 #16

I really like Luuk or Luc!

    No Luuq, anyway.

    Just Luuk!
Why make it separate when it can be easy? This way he won't have to spell his name over and over again when he's older.

    Luc in Belgium
    Luuk in the Netherlands
That's the most common spelling of the name there. I think Luuq does the name a disservice :/

I also don't really get why it's so complicated.
Luuk / Luke or maybe even Luc.
    With a Q, I think it's really weird
