Bad result from the combination test

Hi, I'm Linda and I'm 37. I'm currently 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Yesterday I did the combined test and unfortunately got a risk calculation of 1:80. I was absolutely shocked by that. The nuchal translucency was normal at 1.7mm and everything else was checked thoroughly. Now I have to go to Erasmus MC tomorrow for a CVS test and will get the results in 1 to 2 weeks. I'm so incredibly scared. I was wondering if there are any women here who have experience with this. I really don't know what to expect.

Unfortunately, you can't just wait and see anymore. It's all about probability calculations, so there's also a good chance that everything is fine. At a ratio of 1:80, that means 79 babies are perfectly healthy and 1 unfortunately has an issue. So the chance is higher, but not zero, that everything is okay. Strength for the coming days and with the further tests.
