How bad is it if your man hits you?
I'm a 24-year-old woman and have been in a relationship for almost ten years where my boyfriend keeps hurting me. This happens about once every 1.5 months and I don't know what to do. When things are good, they're really good and I think that's the problem. We've even been trying to get pregnant for half a year. I keep hoping that things will change, that everything will change, but how big are the chances now? I'm so naive and hope that I can be woken up, but that's complicated because no one knows. I really don't want to be alone.

Girl, there is absolutely no reason to let him hit you; what he does is just not okay. Have you ever tried to seek help, even if it's just from family or friends? But girl, you shouldn't stay with a man like that; you won't become happier that way. I understand that you want a baby, but there are other ways and other men who will appreciate you. Hopefully, this helps you in some way. Love,

You're asking how bad it is that your husband hits you. The answer is simple: that's unacceptable in every situation and even illegal. Leave him or go to couples therapy together, and make sure he takes a anger management course. But please don't have a baby in that situation; otherwise, the child might get abused too. -

A man who hits a woman is NOT DONE! Even if she presses all sorts of buttons at once, causing chaos! Unless you're a woman who also hits regularly (first!), then I can understand getting a slap sometimes. I don't mean to say that makes it OK or anything. Violence is never justifiable. But in such a situation, make a 'motherly' decision and don't have a baby. If the relationship sucks, such a baby will end up in a shit situation.
A friend of mine used to hit her boyfriend quite often, and eventually, he hit back too. Does this happen? Get help! Both of you. Even if he's the one who keeps hitting. You have a lot to deal with, and so does he. -
