PMS or not??

Hi everyone,
We've been trying to get pregnant for 10 months now, unfortunately without success. I usually have a regular cycle of 34 days, but this round I don't really understand what's going on. From day 25 onwards, I've been losing a little bit of blood every day. Mostly brown, a panty liner is enough. But last night there was quite a bit, so I thought, finally clarity, I've just gotten my period (day 33). But later in the day, it was very little again. Not nearly as much blood as I normally have during my period.
Does anyone recognize this? What could it be? By the way, my temperature is still high.
