Waiting after the first IUI attempt

This isn't really my thing, but I feel like I need to share my experiences. After two years of trying, I unfortunately didn't get pregnant. Now, after a year of tests and a laparoscopy, we've started with IUI. The first time, there were too many eggs, so now the Menopur dosage has been halved, and I had the insemination last week. Now waiting... How do you all cope with this? They didn't find anything wrong with me. Only my luteal phase is 7 days. Hopefully, it will be extended with the Pregnyl injection. There's also a minor issue with the fallopian tubes regarding their shape, but it shouldn't be a hindrance. Six IUIs and then IVF. I'm trying to stay as relaxed as possible, but honestly... I'm thinking about it every day. Who else is in the waiting weeks after insemination??

I totally get it, that waiting period is absolutely terrible. Especially because with every little feeling you have, you wonder if it worked or if it failed again. I used to distract myself a lot during those waiting times. After four tries, it finally worked. I wish you lots of success and hope it works out quickly for you.
