Pseudocyesis or not??
Pregnant or not??
Hey,
Hopefully my story is clear. On September 2, 2016, I started menstruating (due to the pill I had been using for 4 years) and stopped on September 7. On September 11, I had sex with my boyfriend and took the pill late that day (not a big deal). On September 12, we had sex again, and I decided to stop taking the pill, so I didn't take it that day. After 3 days, I didn't feel so well; I got very mild stomach aches. On September 16, I suddenly started menstruating again, and it stopped on September 21. On September 16, I got the urge to vomit constantly; it lasted for 4 days. I went to the doctor, who said it was because I had stopped the pill, so my body had to get used to it again. But after a few weeks, I started feeling nauseous every morning. I got severe headaches, my body felt really warm inside, I got tingling feet, and then sensitive breasts that were really painful (I could cry from it). Then, drops of milky discharge came out of my nipples when I squeezed them. I went to the doctor again, and she said it was my breast tissue and prescribed me paracetamol. I kept getting pregnancy symptoms, including dizziness. I went back to the doctor and asked for a referral for a urine pregnancy test, which was negative, but the complaints persisted. I didn't focus on them anymore until I suddenly got binge eating urges. My boyfriend kept telling me that I was pregnant, and a colleague at work did too, but I didn't believe it because of the test I took earlier. I then got the urge to urinate constantly; I just couldn't stop, so I decided to buy a pregnancy test, and it was positive. I couldn't believe my eyes. I took my result to the GP, and she calculated how far along I was, and I was 6.6 weeks. I asked for an ultrasound... I went, and there was nothing to see. It was an external ultrasound. A few days later, I bought another test, and I saw two lines, but they were faint. After a few weeks, I bought another test, and it was negative. Then again two, and also negative. At first, I thought maybe it was a miscarriage, so I waited to see blood, but nothing came. I went back to my GP to ask for a referral for an internal ultrasound, but she refused and told me to come back in a month (so December) for a blood test. I went back less than a month later (December 2) for my test because I couldn't wait any longer because I was getting really too dizzy and had vaginal discharge, stinging in my stomach, and my belly was getting round from below my navel, which was coming out slightly. So I decided to go earlier anyway, and yes, my blood test was also negative. I'm really going crazy, I don't know what to do. From that previous pregnancy test, I should now be 12.1 weeks... and I still have pregnancy symptoms. Unfortunately, the GP doesn't want to give me a referral for an internal ultrasound. So she prescribed me tablets to induce my period, but I didn't take them because I believe there might be something visible internally. My upper abdomen is already getting round, and I've gained a lot of weight.
I need help,
Hopefully, I'll get an answer to my story. Advice would also be good because I really don't know what to do anymore.
Best regards, Samy
