Avery pronunciation

Avery is at the top of our list, but we're not sure if everyone knows how to pronounce it or if they'll stumble over the name. What do you all think about this? And do you have any other nice options? (It's for a girl)

I don't think Avery sounds that great. It sounds like a hyphenated name: Eve-Rie.
But if you guys like it, go for it of course.
Since the name is unfamiliar, a lot of people will probably react with: huh? what?
But the name will grow on you.

I'd pronounce it as Efferie. Not an ugly name, but I wouldn't choose it myself. More like just go with Eve.

When I read the name, I immediately read it in English. More like Aivury, I think.

We also think Averie is one of the prettiest names, but I'm bothered by the 'r' – it's a Gooise 'r', and we live in Drenthe. I'm wondering if people will pronounce the 'r' too hard. Jaxon is also on our list; it's nice to be able to shorten it to Jax.

And will she be an Avery?
