Liv or Nova for our girl who will be born in a few weeks?

    I hear Liv so often... I think Nova is a bit more special. I'd go for Nova! :-)

    I think Liv is beautiful, but you hear it more often these days. If you want a name that's less common, I'd go for Nova.

    Why not Lova? In our circle of acquaintances there's a Liv, which is hard for toddlers/preschoolers to pronounce, and Nova reminds me of the hairnets from Novy, the Nova Star group, etc. Lova seems like a nice combination of both, so you don't have to choose ????
