Clearblue ovulation tests

Hey everyone!
This month I'm using ovulation tests for the first time. We bought the Clearblue one with the double hormone indicator.
Started testing on day 9.
Day 1: one circle --> low fertility
The next 9 days --> high fertility
Day 9 evening --> peak fertility
5 days after peak fertility, back to high fertility?

I did another test because I have white discharge, lower back pain, and stabbing pains in my belly.
My ovulation should have already happened by now, how come I'm still getting high fertility now? Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks in advance!

    hey Lillyyy,
the 'high fertility' indicates that your estrogen levels have risen. In the first half of your cycle, an estrogen rise means your LH peak and ovulation are approaching. (This is what you noticed: a few days of high fertility followed by the peak).
But once you've had your peak (and ovulation), you can actually stop testing. It's possible that after ovulation, your estrogen levels rise again (which would make your test show high fertility again), but this has nothing to do with a new ovulation. That's how I understood it at least.

Hey snowflake, thanks for your reply. I wasn't going to test anymore, but with the stomach and back pain, plus the white discharge I also had during ovulation, I wanted to test anyway. It felt so weird..

What I understood is that if your egg hasn't ruptured yet, it might still try later in the cycle... So it could go either way.
