Test action

Hey everyone
I'm new here and have a question. I'm not overdue yet, but we've been trying for a little one for 2 years. I had my sterilization reversed 2 years ago. Today I felt pretty weird. Sore breasts, bloated belly. So I decided to do an early test from the Action store. There are 2 colored lines. Could it be that I'm not pregnant but it still tests positive?

    Sounds pretty pregnant!
Do you have a picture of your test?
    When is your due date?

    Hey,
I'll post something tomorrow, it's needed. It's December 12th, so still 10 days left.
    Greetings

Did you test with the pink cap or the purple cap?

I think she tested it with a purple cap.

If you still have 10 days to go until your expected period, I don't think you can test positive yet... implantation probably hasn't happened yet...

I think you tested with an ovulation test.

I tested with a pink cap. I know the difference between a pregnancy test and an ovulation test well. I did 3 more and they were all POSITIVE.

    Congratulations
It was just a question about the differences.

Congratulations!!!! Those are good tests!!! I've used them too!!

That's great! Could it be that you've been pregnant for a while already? That your last period was actually implantation bleeding? Because otherwise, you'd be testing positive really early! Maybe try a Clearblue with the weeks indicator?

    Good luck!

I think so too.. because normally you can't test positive 10 days before your due date, that's usually 4 days after ovulation.. implantation hasn't happened yet.. so I think you've been pregnant for a while already.. I'd just get it checked out.

I have an appointment with the doctor on Friday. Fingers crossed!

Ramona, I read in another topic that you had a miscarriage... and that you're 2 days away from your period... how was it with the doctor!! Did you also take a pregnancy test there!!! Hopefully your period stays away for 8 months.

Had to do a pregnancy test at the doctor's, but he thought drawing blood was a bit too early. He wanted to wait until after my missed period if it still didn't show up. I did the test anyway, and it's positive, but now I'm scared. I called him this morning, and he said I shouldn't worry. But yeah, that's easier said than done. All sorts of scenarios are running through my head, and I'm afraid I might have a miscarriage.

According to the app I have, it's 4 days before my due date.

Well, if the test at the doctor's was also positive, and you had all positive tests... well, then I wouldn't worry too much, no matter how hard it is.. brown discharge can.. and doesn't have to be shocking...
  16. mariella #17

Brown discharge is just old blood coming out... As long as you don't lose bright red blood, it's not a big deal... And before 12 weeks, there's a risk of miscarriage... Miscarriages before your due date happen more often than you'd think... But normally you wouldn't notice if you weren't testing before your due date... I've had 2 miscarriages around 7/8 weeks...

The brown discharge has turned into very dark red, and I'm trying to stay calm. Fingers crossed. I called the gynecologist just to be sure, but they're only back on Monday. My husband doesn't see any problem and says to just make an appointment with the gynecologist on Monday. What would you do?
  18. mariella #19

Yeah, you can go just to be sure, but if you're around 4 weeks along, you won't see anything yet and you'll probably just start worrying, I think.
