Babbles
how can this be?
Hi,
I just shared my whole story but it seems I couldn't open it.
I was so happy when I found out I was pregnant. I thought I was already 8 weeks pregnant but I was only 6 weeks and 2 days. I had an ultrasound but they said no heartbeat yet. Sometimes I had a bad feeling in the back of my mind because I sometimes had trouble urinating and once I had some brown spotting. I called the midwife about this but she said brown spotting wasn't that serious. When I came for the 10-week scan it turned out the baby had already passed away at 6.5 weeks. After that I ended up with the gynecologist and got medication to induce the miscarriage. A week later I had to come back for a check-up to see if everything was clear. The gynecologist said everything was clean. I kept bleeding though and I didn't trust it so I called the GP and the gynecologist. They said I had to wait some more because I was probably just going to get my period. I waited again but I kept bleeding. It was even so bad that I went for a walk with the dog and blood ran down my legs. Once home a large clot came out. I caught the clot and called the GP again. I could come in quickly but she said it was tissue that belonged to a period. I had to wait at least 2 weeks first. I did that but over the weekend I got a contraction-like feeling again and a very large clot came out. I called the HA and I could come right away. I was referred to the hospital and they did an ultrasound. It turned out I had tissue remnants and fluid in my uterus. I first got a hormone treatment with Provera because my hormone levels might be off. Today this treatment was finished and I was on the toilet when a gestational sac came out. I called the GP because the midwife couldn't answer the phone right away. I explained frustrated that I couldn't wait any longer to see when I could go to the gynecologist. They advised me to call the midwife again. She came by and concluded that indeed it was a fetus. In the beginning I also had a fetus because this looked at least like one.
Has anyone of you experienced something like this? I feel so sad and abandoned that no one took me seriously that I was bleeding so much.. And could I have had twins?
Tomorrow I'll call the gynecologist right away. I kept the fetus.
Greetings
