The gynecologist says something different

Hi everyone,
I went to the gynecologist today and had an internal ultrasound to see if everything looked good. She said, "You've already ovulated and it looks quite recent; there's still fluid there." I was a bit perplexed because I'm already on cycle day 29, and I had a positive ovulation test on cycle day 18, which wasn't very positive the next day. So that wouldn't be very recent.
I mentioned this to the gyn, and she said, "Oh, I could be wrong, but he has definitely ovulated." She didn't say much more. What should I believe? I'm a bit confused now.

The gynecologist doesn't always have it right, apparently.
I've found that out.
We had a message about when it should happen and just did it a lot, haha
