On Thursday we got the scare of our lives. Around midday, my friend had a bleed at 7 weeks. Bright red bleeding. She didn't have any cramps though. After the bleeding (filled a pad), she had nothing more. At 6 pm we had an ultrasound. There we saw our baby with a strong heartbeat and nicely grown compared to 3 days before. The ultrasound showed that a piece of the placenta had detached. The OB-GYN gave us a 50/50 chance of a good outcome.
