Period cramps, test negative

Good morning everyone,

I have a question regarding getting pregnant. Hopefully, this is the right forum to ask my question. I'm new here and don't quite know how it all works yet

I stopped taking the pill in June. The subsequent cycles were: 29, 39, 34, ?

My period started again on October 8th. Normally, I clearly feel the ovulation, with cramps 1 to 2 days prior and very sensitive nipples, plus a lot of discharge. Towards my period, I get very swollen breasts and a lot of pain. Then I get my period. While on the pill, I always had severe cramps, so serious that I regularly had to cry from the pain and was kneeling and panting. However, since stopping the pill, I've never had period pain. But I did have very heavy bleeding.

This cycle, I haven't had any of that discomfort at all, except that I've had period cramps for a week now. Unlike usual, though; it's more of a pressure and nagging feeling. No real pain. Took a test last night, negative. A UTI is also not possible.

I know I have irregular periods, and that pregnancy is small, so I'm not really aiming for that. But I'd like to know if this could be something medical. And if so, when should you see a doctor? I'm 25 years old, so still young enough, and I'm not so focused on getting pregnant, although I do keep everything neat and tidy. Besides, I am a bit of a stressed type. I'd just like to know where these cramps are coming from. It's very unpleasant, and given my history of severe period pain, I'm just curious what you guys think.

I'd love to hear from you.

Kind regards,

Mavy
