Lieke or Moosje for a girl??

Hi everyone,
I'm 21 weeks pregnant with our second girl. We still haven't figured out what to name our first daughter. I really don't know anymore .
During the pregnancy, her nickname was Moosje (a holiday joke, but after 9 months she became our real Moosje). We didn't dare to use Moos/Moosje as a first name (how does it look: unique/special or just not nice for an adult woman?) and unfortunately, we weren't on the same page about other first names back then.
I find playful/fun/brutal names like Charlie, Liz, Bo more appealing, while my partner prefers names like Sofia, Lotte. In the end, we had to choose something and went for a very safe name, namely Lieke (Passport: Lieke Moosje). Lieke wasn't my first choice, but she seemed quite lively/cheerful to us, but now I've changed my image of her to being very ordinary and nothing special, and I can't get used to it. We've kept calling her Moosje a lot and try to use Lieke too, but we really need to make a decision because she's 1.5 years old. Friends/family, no one knows what to call her anymore. How do we call her at school, Lieke or Moosje, and which name will we choose for the upcoming baby, should it fit with Lieke or Moosje?
What a long story haha, I'm curious about your opinions and which second name fits with Lieke or Moosje. Thanks for your responses/suggestions!
2 girls, just a random throw:
Lieke + Lauren, Liz, Julie, Sofie (beautiful but so common), Bo, Anne, Filipa, Philou, Linde, Kate/Keet etc?
Moosje + Charlie, Lizzie, Elvie, Pom(me), Juul, Lou or one of the above names, for example.

So you have 2 questions if I understand correctly? How to name daughter 1 and how to name daughter 2.
Have you seen this list yet? http://www.voornamelijk.nl/stoere-meisjesnamen-deel-4-voor-de-meute-uit/
Moos is listed here as a tough name and 'ahead of the pack'.
If I read you right, you've actually already made up your mind for yourself. Your daughter is Moosje and you use the name Lieke to get used to that name, but it doesn't feel right. I also read that you went with what others (possibly) would think. So does your Moosje remain Moosje or does she become - under the influence of others like unknown forum members here - Lieke. Well, I think you can already read my opinion between the lines a bit.
(besides that, I don't have much with the name Lieke. I also find that name ordinary (all the Liekes reading along: sorry!).

Then the name for daughter 2. There is no law saying that the name of child 2 has to match that of child 1 of course. But from your list I find: Bo, Pomme (have you seen that Pom is also in that 'ahead of the pack' list?), Charlie and Lou.
If daughter 1 becomes Lieke and you really want matching names then I find Bo the nicest.
And if daughter 2 stays Moosje then I think Pomme is really super. Lou and Charlie were once on my list and I still like them, but Pomme has everything that Moosje has: fresh / independent.
You can also choose 2 names for daughter 2 again right? One from each category.

I wish you lots of success with choosing!

Thank you so much for your lovely, detailed reply! You really described how I feel. In my heart, it's Moosje. But I'm still afraid it won't work out well for her, or that she'll always have to explain, "My name on paper is Lieke, but they call me Moosje." We'll think about it a bit more , but for the second one, we'll just decide.

I think Lieke is nicer than Moosje.

Besides that, I never really cared whether the names of our daughters matched. But there are plenty of people who do find that important. I understand your dilemma; I also had a tough time with my third pregnancy about what to name our girl. Somehow we couldn't agree. Luckily, we worked it out in the end, haha.

What do you think of the names Lisette, Kristy, Nikkie?
    Rozelinde, Jasmijn, Sanne?

If I had to choose, my preference would go to Lieke.
Tessa might also be nice and cheerful.

Tessa, quick and cheerful, I mean.
But I would maybe make Moza out of Moosje if you really stick with this name, that might also be nice?

Thanks for your reply, Madelene. I'll let it all sink in for now.

    That's all good
    Good luck with your choice

"Right, officially my name is Lieke, but they call me Moosje."
Officially I have 3 old-fashioned first names and a totally different (snappy) nickname. This has never been an issue.
Just make sure to clearly state what the nickname is when registering for school, sports clubs, etc., and everything will be fine.

I agree with the first reply. If she's "Moosje" in your heart, then go for Moosje. And when she's 12 and starts high school, you can always let her choose for herself.

You could also consider registering her at school with 'Moos'.

And a good tip from Anna, by the way (about high school).

I totally get what you mean.
We always had a girl's name in mind, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm torn between that name and another one.
Our preference leans slightly more toward the other one, but I'm so afraid we'll regret it.
I initially chose "Lieke" in the poll, but after your story, I've decided on "Moosje."
She's Moosje for you guys; she can always call herself Moos or Lieke later on, whatever she wants.
If you start calling her Lieke now, it'll feel weird too.
