Difference in feeling between boys'/girls' names

Hi,
We don’t know the baby's gender yet. The girl's name came to us very quickly, and we're really excited about it. The boy's name has been a lot harder..
Now we have a name on the list that my husband really likes. But I have a completely different feeling about it compared to the girl's name. I think it's nice, but it doesn't get me as excited as the girl's name does.
Is your feeling about the boy's/girl's name the same? Do you get just as excited about it?
If so, I guess we need to keep looking a bit more...

So relatable! I also find boy names harder than girl names.
In the end, your child becomes their name, and you can hardly imagine them having any other name.
And the names you like? Does your husband not like them?

No, the boy's name I like the most, he doesn't find so special.. difficult difficult ????

We’ve known the gender for two weeks now. I’ve had a name in mind for years, but my partner doesn’t think it’s that special...
It’s important that you both like the name. It’s for life, after all! Sooooo difficult

It ended up being a girl, her name is Fay. So maybe our intuition was right after all, since we were most excited about the girl's name

We use the Zwitsal baby names app, and you can link it with an email address of you and your husband. Then you can see under "son's heart" which names you both like the same.
