I also thought Xanthe-Liv was a nice idea, but my husband really wants two separate names, so you can pick either one as a nickname. With Xanthe-Liv, he feels we'd have to call her that in everyday life, not just Liv. I'm hoping for Ianthe Liv! My husband is letting it sink in for now; we both need to be 100% on board with it. -

I totally get your man too. I'm curious if he's also going for Ianthe Liv.
I think Ianthe is a bit prettier than Xanthe. Softer and more melodic, but still with that spicy and special touch of Xanthe.
