Hi, I just want to share one thing with you all. I had an Implanon twice, for a total of 5 and a half years. I had it removed because I started getting brown, nasty discharge and my periods became completely irregular, always coming at unexpected times. I went to the doctor right away, and they referred me to a gynecologist. To my surprise, after several tests, I found out I had miscarried without even realizing it. It was clear that I had ovulated despite having the Implanon installed!!! So please, everyone, be careful with that implant—it's not reliable at all. I had it removed, and now I'm feeling a desire for a baby.
