Minipill

Hi everyone,
I stopped the pill last month.
I gave birth to my first child 14 months ago. I always took Microgynon as my pill, and it took a while to come off when I stopped to get pregnant with my son (7 months old).
However, I did get a withdrawal bleed and an (irregular) cycle back then.
Now it's different. I've been on the mini-pill for about 6 or 7 months now, but this time I haven't had any withdrawal bleed at all? I've been off it for almost a month now, and still no period, nothing! Is this normal with the mini-pill? I thought since there are fewer hormones in it, it would all be easier.
I'd love to hear others' experiences about stopping the mini-pill

Cheers

I've also taken the mini pill. With the mini pill, your body takes care of its own menstruation because this pill has a low dose of hormones.
With the regular pill, for example Mircogynon, there's a fake cycle caused by those pills. Because of this, you don't know what your natural cycle is like—whether it's regular or not, and how many days it lasts.
But with the mini pill, you do know that. You also don't need to "un-pill" with the mini pill, and you can get pregnant again very quickly after stopping.
So either you now have a longer cycle, or maybe you're already pregnant.

Super! Thanks a lot. Finally someone who can explain it :-)
I stopped the pill on October 9th.
So I guess I'll wait until November 9th? Then maybe take a test?

    Love
