Hi ladies!
I'm a proud mom of 4 boys. Shortly after the birth of the 4th, my husband and I chose sterilization. My husband was able to have this procedure done at his GP. Afterwards, he was tested and everything was fine (no living cells). This was over a year ago. But.... I'm over 6 weeks late. I didn't take it too seriously and thought I had missed a cycle, never happened before but everything has a first time. The second cycle isn't showing up either, I did have some discomfort but that went away after a day. I've had sensitive breasts for a few weeks now, but hey, that's probably because my period is due. So the 2nd cycle is still missing, cervical cancer is common in my family and that was something to lie awake thinking about last night, or menopause (I'm 30 but it could be). Called the GP this morning, the assistant started asking me a few questions and said I should just go do a test. My reaction was very surprised, my husband was after all treated, I really saw it happen!! Of course I know there's a very small chance it could heal itself. But pregnancy? No, that wasn't something I saw as an option.
Still bought a test, it's now lying on the table staring at me, but my husband wants me to wait until he's home and the kids are in bed.
I just need to get it off my chest in the hope that I can let it go for a bit and do something useful instead of staring at a box.
