Naming Cornelia

Hi!
We're looking for a middle name for Nora and would love to honor Cornelia, but not use the exact name.
Does anyone have suggestions for a name that's similar?

    I know someone named Amelia? You pronounce it as a-MEE-lia (so really the stress on 'mee', there are also those who will say a-mee-LIA, which is also logical (after Amélie).

    Or Amalia (personally I think Amelia is more beautiful), Celia, Cosette (but maybe completely different than Nora), Lea, Liah?

    I think Celia is a great choice! It's also very modern. Or maybe Nelia?

    What great options! Thanks! I wouldn't have thought of those names myself. I just don't know if my husband will like them. I was thinking of Nora Lieke, I think he'd prefer something like that. What do you all think?

    Then the initials would be NL, by the way. It's not really a problem, but I'd find it a bit weird myself (but I do salt all the snails, you know )

    Nora Lieke is also fine. Are you going to use the second name as well?
    (light association with former news anchor Noraly Beyer, but seems like no problem to me).

    I wouldn't go for a second name that also ends in an 'a', I find that a bit too cutesy... Also, I don't think Nora Nelie sounds so nice because of the double 'n'. If you don't mind the double 'a' at the end, you could still go for Lena, which I think is a beautiful name on its own! Liene might also work. I really like Lieke too!
