How big is the chance of pregnancy?

Hi everyone,

I forgot 2 pills in total during my entire pill break. The first pill in week 1 and the second pill in week 3. Both times I had sex with my ex, unprotected, two days later. Those are also the only times I've had sex this month. I was wondering how big the chance is of a possible pregnancy since I only had sex twice, but forgot the pill both times. And no, it was absolutely not intentional!

Next Sunday or Monday I should get my period. Does that mean I'm not pregnant? Or could it be that I am/will be pregnant then, but my period still just started?

Keep in mind that you might be pregnant, since you haven't been taking the pill regularly. Even if you start bleeding this weekend, there's still a chance you could be pregnant. This is called implantation bleeding and it looks like a light period. If I were you, I'd take a pregnancy test next week anyway (don't take it earlier than next week, otherwise you might get a false negative even though you are pregnant).

    Thanks for your reply!
I'll wait for this period to finish and then test once it's over.
Maybe a bit of a silly question, but if my period is heavy like it usually is, could it still be implantation bleeding?

Yeah, that’s still possible. Implantation bleeding is often mistaken for a period. So just to be safe, I’ll still take a test with your first morning urine (after your period) to be sure. You can use the tests from Action—they come in a pack of 2 (the other ones are ovulation tests, which won’t help here). Let me know how it goes, okay?

Aha, good to know. Thanks for your response anyway I'll let you know what the test results are. I'm really curious myself!

I get that you're curious, but if you test now before you get your period, you'll get a false result. So really, test after your "period" or if it doesn't come.
