I'm now 7 weeks pregnant and 3 days, but I've always had a little brown discharge. Do I need to worry about this??

Hi Fie, brown blood is old blood, so it’s been there for a little while. As long as it’s just a small amount, I wouldn’t worry too much. It should stop soon, though, so if it doesn’t, give your GP a call! -

Yeah, I thought so too. As long as it's just a little bit, it shouldn't do any harm, right?

The color of the blood can also vary quite a bit. Some women lose a bit of bright red blood or old, brown blood. And others only lose a bit of pink or purplish mucus.
