getting pregnant again after a miscarriage

Hi everyone,

I'll introduce myself quickly. I'm 26 and have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now. In January, I was referred to the hospital because my period didn't start, and it turned out I have PCOS. I started taking Clomid and got pregnant by the third round. I was so happy, but unfortunately, it didn't last long. A week later, I had heavy bleeding and sadly lost the baby.

It's all so sad. My doctor told me I had to wait for my period to return before I could start Clomid again. My period came back after 5 weeks, so I was naturally super happy. But now I'm on day 17 of my cycle and still haven't ovulated. Normally, with Clomid, this always happens on day 15. I'm becoming so incredibly insecure and stressed. Trying to conceive just isn't fun anymore. Now that I know what it's like to be pregnant, we want it more than ever. Trying to get pregnant is just too much for me right now, even though relaxing is so important at this moment. Does anyone have tips for relaxation or something? I never wanted to become desperate, but I really am.

Love, Jenn...

Everyone will say you should distract yourself and not dwell on it too much, but that's easier said than done. The only thing I can say is keep hoping and remember that if Clomid doesn't work, there are other methods. I hope you get pregnant soon and your wish for a child comes true. I know how it feels to wait for so long; every day feels like one too many. I had to wait 4 years to get pregnant for the first time, which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage after 31 weeks. Luckily, I got pregnant again after that and am now patiently waiting for the baby to be born—I'm 37 weeks pregnant now. Keep hoping and stay cool.
