Hi everyone,
I'm new here and really curious about your experiences regarding the decision to have a third child (or more). I find it so difficult myself and keep doubting!

    Welcome!
I'm pregnant with my third child My husband also found it a tough choice at first. I come from a family of four kids and I only have good memories of that. Now that I'm pregnant with our third, my husband and two little girls are really happy about it. It'll probably get busier, but I'm not too worried about it. I'll manage First, though, there's still the birth to get through...
    Love!

Thank you! How lovely that you're pregnant with your third child. How are you feeling? You're used to a big family, right? We're not, but it's still working out. How old are you, if I may ask? Age is also a bit of an issue for us!

Things are going pretty well for me. I'm now 38+4 weeks, so it's getting closer. I have to say I'm pretty fed up with it . I'm 35, and my little girls are 6 and 3.

Wow, that sounds exciting! You're already quite far along. How lovely that you have two little girls, aged 6 and 3. Do you already know if you're having a girl or a boy this time? Wishing you all the best!

Thank you! It's really exciting now, it's coming up soon. We didn't want to know what it's going to be. So it's a surprise My little girls would love a little sister .

Hi sweetie, I never hesitated about having a third child. Here, it was my husband who was really hesitant. Sounds maybe weird but in the end he did it for me. He thought it was fine like that, our family of two and quite busy. Comes maybe also because he brings and picks up the kids from school and is with them when I work. So the care for the third would also fall on him if I went back to work in the mornings. Now she's here and we're very happy with our third little princess I'm 30 myself, my husband 41. I did want to wait until the middle one was 3 before starting on a third. Because I find the age gap between our two oldest girls quite challenging. There's exactly 1 year and 8 months between them. And even though that might seem manageable for someone else, we found it quite challenging because they're both still so small. And even during the second pregnancy it was tough. So with that in mind, I wanted more time between the second and third. The oldest is now 7, turning 8 in January. And the middle one just turned 6. And our third girl, I gave birth to on March 24th. It's busy with three, it certainly helps that the two oldest are already somewhat independent. And the oldest also often helps with babysitting. For me those were important points to take into account when we decided on a third. But I went for it without any doubt. That was harder for my husband to choose.
