James

Okay, I have a really weird question. Our family consists of quite different people, including some who are a bit more 'antisocial' (if I can put it that way). Now, they all have names that, in my opinion, aren't very nice but fit their milieu. Including a few names starting with Dj... We're thinking of James as a boy's name, but I find it a chic name and not antisocial. But since you can also pronounce it with a Dj., I'm so afraid that everyone will think it's just such a name.

What do you all think (with that knowledge) of James?

If you're into English names, I think it's great. I don't think James is at all a "basic" name; like you said, it's a bit more upscale!

I don't see James as a 'aso' name either, I like it.

Super fun! It's also just the English name for Jacobus, definitely not aso!
