Hi,
I was wondering if you guys might have any good tips for getting rid of the pregnancy pounds. I still had 12 extra after the birth and now still 7... My daughter is now half a year old. I'm also curious about your experiences with this. And how you dealt with it.
Xx

    Hi Jolien,

I had gained about 15 kilos around that time. But I was (and still am, now 16 months later) breastfeeding, and I have to say that in those weeks it all flew off at once! After three weeks I was back at my old weight, and after two months my "tummy" was gone too. I drank a lot of water during those months to help my milk supply, maybe that helped a bit too. Now I cycle about 3 days a week for around 15 minutes. I stay at the same weight, but I don't know if it's because of that. Luckily, I don't really have a tendency to gain weight either.

    I don't know if you're breastfeeding?

That sounds great! I'm so glad it went so smoothly and you could breastfeed for such a long time!
I really wanted to breastfeed, but I got two mastitis infections within 3 weeks, so I had to stop.
I always bike to work, but I don't drink enough water myself. I should definitely try that!

Yeah, I mainly drank water to keep my milk supply good. Luckily, I never had any infections! Sounds really nasty and painful! Good hygiene is really important.

Yeah, water can never do any harm and is only good for you! I'm also a fan of energy drinks and stuff, and I always find water disgusting
