Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

Hi everyone,
I have a question. On day 9 of my cycle, I started using ovulation tests. This is my first time, so I'm not really familiar with them yet. I'm using Clearblue with the dual hormone indicator.
I'm now on day 12, and it's still showing a flashing smiley to me. I actually expected to ovulate on day 13, since my cycles average 26 days.
So I'm wondering if I'm even going to ovulate this month, or if I started testing too late. I'll just keep testing, and I'll figure it out eventually.
My question: when do you usually ovulate?

Did he already indicate a 'non-blinking' smiley?
I also used the Clearblue one, but then the regular digital indicator.
I always only had 1 day with a smiley
