Hi! Who wants to help us think? We're expecting a baby girl and have decided on Nora. We'd like a middle name but can't quite decide.

Nora Fleur
Nora Tessa

But they don't quite feel right yet. Any suggestions?

Best wishes!

Nora is also one of our favorites! And Fleur too, haha.

Do you want it to be a variation of a family member or someone dear?

I don't think Nora is such a nice name, but tastes differ, of course
Fleur is great, super nice name.
It's the middle name of our middle daughter.
With Nora, I think Saraha fits well.
Or Saartje. And I also think Floortje goes well with Nora.

I know a Nora Sofie/Sophie and I think it sounds nice, but everyone has their own taste. Maybe it's an idea for you guys

    @Nannie
That's funny and nice! I'd actually like to name someone after them, but I can't choose who. So I think I'll just pick a name we simply like!

    @ Madelene,
    Tastes differ indeed!
Sarah is a nice name, but it doesn't quite fit us.
I like tough names! Diminutives with -tje aren't really my taste either..

    Nora Jane.......maybe??

I think my little post was just overlooked, since it was posted around the same time as the longer reply to the other one of yours so here it is above as an option for the name. If you did see it, just forget this little post!

    @Bianca
Thanks for your suggestion! I also think it sounds nice! I’d prefer to choose a name that’s not in the top 10!

    @wish,
I agree, it’s a good suggestion. I’d rather not go for an English name!

Thanks!! This way I’ll also figure out what I do or don’t want ????

Hi anon, I don't want diminutive names either, neither my husband nor I. And I don't think Sarah is a nice name, but I thought it fit well with Nora, that's why there are diminutive names too Amy is also on the list, I think. Good luck finding a nice second name that fits well

I also think these are nice combinations:

    Nora Sophia
    Nora Lisa
    Nora Felien
    Nora Amara
    Nora Anna
    Nora Mélie

I think Lou sounds nice with it and it gives the name a bit more of a special feel, especially since Lou isn't very common for girls.

    My suggestions:
    Nora Sofia
    Nora Julie
    Nora Marie
    Nora Floor

If you want something a bit more special:
    Nora Lou
    Nora Esmé
    Nora Noé
    Nora Mette
    Nora Pien
    Nora Lisse
    Nora Fré
    Nora Yanoe
    Nora Mone

I'd go with Nora and a longer middle name:
    Nora Sophia
    Nora Lianne
    Nora Saphira
    Nora Linde
    Nora Delilah
    Nora Valerie
    Nora Charlotte
    Nora Brechtje
    Nora Isolde
    Nora Felicia

    Hi,

Our almost 2-year-old daughter also has the beautiful name Nora. Her full name is Nora Sophia.

    Good luck!

Such a beautiful name, Nora! I think Sophie/Sophia also sounds nice after it.
  18. Anonymous Guest #19

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! There are some beautiful names among them! But unfortunately, not the one yet.. it's tricky! And then it's also handy that you both find the name beautiful!

Maybe I'll still go with a naming, do you have any more suggestions for a middle name that honors Cornelia?

    Greetings
